Science conclusion - Baking soda & vinegar

 Hey!

This week in literacy we had to write the discussion and conclusion for our experiments. we did a vinegar and baking soda experiment but changed out the vinegar and baking soda, with recommended substitutes.  we put vinegar in a bottle and put baking soda in a balloon then we put the balloon over the nozzle over the bottle and the baking soda fell in. Once the reaction started it created a gas to blow up the balloon then whatever balloon is most blown up we will know their ingredients had the best reaction.

My international space station module!

 Hey!

For one of my task in literacy this week we looked at the ISS/International space station. We firstly watched a video on how the international space station works, how it was made and some facts about the ISS. Then we hade to make a timeline of the building of the ISS.

After all of that, we got to make a module that we would add to the ISS, mine was a lab where you experiment on many things but I laid it out to experiment on plants and how moonlight affected them. Here is my module.

I added the module because I didn't see anything like this when I was watching the building of ISS and I thought I could be helpful to some astronauts who want to perform an experiment that need a module like this. What the ISS purpose is, the ISS is used for experiments that can only be performed in space.

What would you add to the ISS?

Bye!

Hi!

In my literacy group this week we hade a chance to make our own science experiment, here is my science report for my baking soda and vinegar experiment. I haven't completed my report yet because I'm doing my experiment tonight.

Would you try to do this experiment?
